Horah Inc Blends Retro Typography and Pop Culture References Across Mirchi Rum, DDP Book, and On Running Trading Cards
Horah Inc, a creative studio comprised of four members, specializes in art direction, graphic design, and 2D/3D motion, drawing on vintage aesthetics and retro typography. They crafted striking designs for the British spiced rum brand Mirchi, capturing the rum's inviting essence, with influences from football, film titles from the 1960s to 1980s, and bands such as Deftones. For the 30th anniversary of Dehors Dedans Partout, they produced a book that featured Wim Crowel's typography, merging 1970s fonts with modern designs. Creative director Théotim Hunaut highlighted a spirit of rebellion. Additionally, they created athlete trading cards for On Running, utilizing collectible card terminology. Their work has been showcased on It's Nice That, attributed to Horah Inc, 2026, with the article penned by Paul M, a Junior Writer since May 2025.
