Hong Kong Businessman Donates Silk Road Painting to Palace Museum
Xu Rongmao, founder and chairman of Hong Kong Shimao Group, presented the artwork Silk Road Landscape Map to the Palace Museum during a ceremony held at the institution on November 30. The painting was previously acquired by Xu from a collector in Japan for $20 million.
