Holiday Art Exhibitions in Rome: From Impressionists to Maria Lai

Artribune has curated a guide to must-see exhibitions in Rome during the Christmas and New Year holidays. At Palazzo Bonaparte, 'Impressionisti Segreti' showcases never-before-seen works from private collections, including pieces by Monet, Sisley, Seurat, Signac, Caillebotte, and Renoir, open until March 8, 2020. Tenendo per mano il sole,' featuring many previously unseen works divided into five thematic sections, until January 12, 2020. Palazzo delle Esposizioni hosts 'Sublimi Anatomie,' a group exhibition reinterpreting the body through aesthetic and scientific lenses, with works by artists including Berlinde De Bruyckere, Birgit Jürgenssen, Chen Zhen, and others, plus three 18th-century anatomical waxes from Florence's La Specola collection, until January 6, 2020.
