Heritage Auctions will hold its GACC U.S. Currency Signature Auction from Oct. 6–9, with the William S. George Collection anchoring a dedicated session. The collection comprises 479 lots of fractional currency, specimens, experimentals and courtesy autographs. Among its highlights is one of only two known uncut pairs of a Fr. 1373a 50¢ Milton 3r50.9 Third Issue Justice Uncut Pair, graded PMG Choice About Unc 58 EPQ; only five singles of the note are known, making the pair a rarity sought by advanced collectors. Raiden Honaker, Heritage's Director of U.S. Currency, described the GACC auction as exceptional in both quality and scope, noting its nearly 2,300 lots span Fractionals, Confederate notes and National Bank Notes, with options for a wide range of collectors. The sale's breadth places the George Collection at the center of the four-day event.
