Heidi Gallery Moves from Berlin to London, Opens with Brook Hsu Show

institutional · 2026-09-23

Founded in 2021 by French dealer Pauline Seguin, Heidi gallery has moved its operations from Berlin to London, establishing itself near Postdamerstrasse for the period from 2021 to 2026. The gallery showcases a diverse array of international talent, primarily featuring US artists like Kandis Williams and filmmaker Jordan Strafer, who gained recognition at the 2026 Whitney Biennial. Seguin attributes the relocation to London's vibrant gallery environment, contrasting it with Berlin's declining cultural funding and increased repression following the Hamas attacks on 7 October. She has secured a five-year lease on Maddox Street to draw in collectors. Heidi will debut on 24 September with Brook Hsu's exhibition, continuing until 7 November, and will also join Frieze London with Akeem Smith. A second exhibition will highlight new works by Strafer.
