The Erenhault House, a midcentury modern residence designed by architect Harry Gesner, has been listed for sale at $28 million in Beverly Hills' Trousdale Estates. This marks the first time in two decades the property has been available for purchase, having previously only been offered for rent. Commissioned in 1968 and completed in 1970, the 6,500-square-foot home features six bedrooms and six bathrooms on over half an acre. Gesner, a self-taught architect and decorated World War II veteran, was known for his coastal-inspired designs that integrated organic forms and materials with the Southern California landscape. The house showcases his signature elements: curved, sculptural rooflines, timber structures, and an indoor-outdoor layout with oversized windows maximizing views of the city, canyon, and coastline. Built directly on natural stone, the property includes an open living room with a sunken seating area and built-in fireplace, a Poliform kitchen beneath a glass atrium, and six en-suite bedrooms that open onto terraces. Outdoor amenities feature a pool, hot tub, and lounge space. Seller Mezhgan Hussainy described the architecture as having a soft, wave-like quality that appears to grow from the land.
