Hannah Levy's inaugural Italian exhibition opens at Museo Nivola in Sardinia

Museo Nivola in Sardinia is hosting the debut Italian solo exhibition of artist Hannah Levy, titled 'Blue Blooded – Sangue blu.' Curated by Giuliana Altea, Antonella Camarda, and Luca Cheri, the presentation features a series of recent sculptures that draw inspiration from the horseshoe crab. This ancient marine creature's blue blood plays a crucial role in medical safety testing. Levy's works blend polished metal with silicone and glass, creating fluid shapes that reference organic forms and Surrealist influences while nodding to Art Nouveau and Modernist design. The artist aligns her practice with figures like Meret Oppenheim, Louise Bourgeois, and Robert Gober, producing pieces that are both alluring and disquieting.
