Haggerty Museum of Art Names Ariel Pate as New Chief Curator

The Haggerty Museum of Art at Marquette University has selected Ariel Pate as its Chief Curator following a nationwide recruitment process. Pate, who previously worked as Assistant Curator of Photography at the Milwaukee Art Museum, will assume the position in May 2026. With more than twenty years of expertise in curatorial work and museum leadership, she will oversee the institution's collection of 10,000 artworks and organize exhibitions addressing contemporary social and cultural themes. The museum, located within Marquette University, collaborates with academic departments to provide educational programming aligned with Jesuit intellectual traditions.
