Guido Harari's Photographic Retrospective Opens at Vicenza's Basilica Palladiana

A major exhibition titled 'Guido Harari. Incontri. 50 anni di fotografie e racconti' opened at the Basilica Palladiana in Vicenza on March 27. The show features over 300 photographs, installations, memorabilia, and original films by Italian photographer Guido Harari, spanning his five-decade career focused on portraits of cultural figures. The exhibition includes a 'Pantheon' installation with 24 large-format suspended images of notable subjects like David Bowie, Fabrizio De André, Margherita Hack, Greta Thunberg, and Ennio Morricone. Curated by architects Giorgio and Giulio Simioni, the exhibition also features interactive elements including a 'Magic Cavern' where visitors can be photographed by Harari, with those portraits forming a growing display called 'Eyes of Vicenza.' The exhibition connects with local cultural programming including the Vicenza Jazz festival in May 2026.
