Guggenheim Bilbao and Museo de Bellas Artes Launch Joint Ticket on October 14

The Museo Guggenheim Bilbao and the Museo de Bellas Artes de Bilbao have signed a collaboration agreement to create a joint ticket that provides access to both museums at reduced rates. The joint ticket will be valid for four days and will take effect on October 14. Depending on the type of ticket set by the exhibition calendar—general, special, or reduced—the discount will range from 20% to 33%. For example, purchasing two adult tickets for October 14 (reduced rate) would cost twenty-four euros, while the joint ticket would cost sixteen euros. The 50% discount for students and pensioners and free admission for minors will be maintained. The two institutions are connected by a walk of barely four hundred meters, which has recently been improved to enhance the urban connection between the museums. Additionally, a discounted rate will promote accessibility for those over 65 and students between 18 and 25 years old, upon documentary proof. The agreement also includes a 50% reduction on adult rates for members of the Friends of both museums. Advance tickets for access to both museums from October 14 can already be purchased on the official websites guggenheim-bilbao.eus and bilbaomuseoa.eus. Ticket sales at the museums' box offices will begin on October 15.
