Group Exhibition 'Feedback' at Jack Shainman Gallery's The School in Kinderhook

Jack Shainman Gallery presented the group exhibition 'Feedback' at its satellite venue The School in Kinderhook, New York, from summer through October 30, 2021. Curated by Helen Molesworth, the show featured 22 artists, including Karon Davis, Kerry James Marshall, Lynette Yiadom-Boakye, Taylor Davis, and Rose B. Simpson. The exhibition was inspired by an audio piece by Janet Cardiff and George Bures Miller and explored themes of education, history, and contemporary society through artworks installed in dialogue with the renovated 1929 schoolhouse architecture. It aimed to reflect on public spaces and childhood in America.
