Group Exhibition Explores Pain as Transformative Force for Women Artists

Sensity Studio presents 'Becoming Through Pain,' a group exhibition curated by Huma Kabakcı at London's Somers Gallery from March 26 to April 2, 2026. The show features eight international women artists examining pain as a catalyst for change in female bodily experience. An opening reception is scheduled for March 25. The exhibition challenges historical dismissal of women's pain, framing repair as creative and political action. Participating artists include Pauline Batista, Sena Başöz, Shannon Bono, Dyana Gravina, Jennifer Nieuwland, Lolita Pelegrime, Aziza Shaden, and Gülce Tulçalı.
