Singer Gracie Abrams has been announced as the face of Chanel's new fragrance, Coco Mademoiselle Crush Absolu, an ambery-citrus-floral scent created by perfumer Olivier Polge. The 26-year-old artist, who recently wore a red sequin Chanel gown for her Vogue cover shoot, shared her first memory of the brand: her grandmother's bottle of N°5. Abrams describes the fragrance as embodying confidence, noting that scent can instantly change one's demeanor. Beyond beauty, she is working on a forthcoming album titled 'Daughter from Hell' and has taken on her first acting role in Halina Reijn's A24 period drama 'Please.' She also revealed a newfound love for dancing at clubs, inspired by the Chanel campaign film set for release later this summer. Abrams emphasizes staying present and open to new experiences, whether through pastel drawings of friends or embracing shorter haircuts, which Chanel creative director Matthieu Blazy approves of.
