Good+evil Unveils Ways, a Rotating Wristwatch That Doubles as a Desk Clock

The brand good+evil has introduced Ways, a new wristwatch featuring a rotating dial that can pivot up to 120 degrees for ergonomic wear or turn 90 degrees to function as a tabletop clock. This model evolves from the earlier Omen design, blending functional object with experimental design. Its circular dial is mounted on a rectangular base, allowing orientation adjustments for comfort during activities like driving. The case uses sandblasted stainless steel, comprising a front circular section and a rear rectangular structure with integrated lugs for a black leather strap. A click mechanism, akin to sport watch bezels, ensures precise and tactile rotation. Inside, the dial boasts a three-dimensional construction with raised concentric rings, creating a sculptural effect. Hour indices appear as negative spaces within the pattern, while a '+' logo serves as a seconds hand, merging graphic and functional elements. Powered by a Swiss quartz movement, Ways has a slim profile for daily wear. Sapphire anti-reflective glass and CNC-machined casing offer durability and formal clarity, consistently combining circular and rectangular forms to reflect the project's logic.
