Goldstein Donation Brings Over 70 Works to Zimmerli Art Museum
On July 15, collectors Anne and Arthur Goldstein announced their generous donation of over 70 artworks to the Zimmerli Art Museum at Rutgers University, New Jersey. Highlights include self-portraits by iconic artists such as Robert Rauschenberg and Laura Aguilar, alongside a painted skateboard and Mark Bradford's photography series focusing on hairstyles. The donation features works by notable artists like Juliana Huxtable and Nicole Eisenman. Among these, Chew II's surreal 2021 piece "Corrlinks and Jaypay/Free My Dawgs" and Huxtable's thought-provoking "Untitled in the Rage" will be showcased in the upcoming exhibition, "Mashup: New Acquisitions from the Zimmerli," set for February 2027.
