Goldrausch Künstlerinnenprojekt Opens Applications for 2027 Cohort

The Goldrausch Künstlerinnenprojekt, a professional development program for FLINTA visual artists run by Goldrausch Frauennetzwerk e. V. since 1989, has announced an open call for its 2027 cohort. The program offers 15 spots for a 12-month course from January to December, with weekly sessions on two fixed days, individual appointments, and three to four intensive weeks. Applicants must be visual artists of any age, preferably with a fine arts degree or equivalent, based in Berlin, and proficient in German and English. The curriculum includes practice-oriented learning, studio talks, website design, public relations, project planning, catalogue production, and a group exhibition. Seminars are led by art historians and cultural scholars, with guest curators and gallerists. The selection process involves an external jury reviewing written applications and conducting small group interviews, based on artistic quality and how the course complements the applicant's practice. Deadline is September 15, 2026. Over 525 artists have graduated from the program, which aims to counteract structural discrimination against FLINTA artists.
