Global Museum Construction Projects Spanning 2026-2030 Across Four Continents

Multiple museum construction projects are advancing worldwide with completion dates extending from 2026 to 2030. These developments span Asia, Europe, North America, and Central Asia, reflecting a broader trend where cultural institutions are evolving into multifunctional public spaces that integrate education, research, and civic engagement. Architectural firms including Snøhetta, Kéré Architecture, MAD Architects, BIG, and David Chipperfield Architects are designing structures that respond to urban contexts, environmental factors, and local materials. In China, the Beijing Art Museum by Snøhetta and BIAD began construction in December 2025 in Tongzhou District and is expected to finish in 2029, featuring a central circular atrium.
