Glénat Acquires Art Publisher Le Passage
In late July 2026, the Glénat group took over Éditions Le Passage, a Parisian publisher specializing in art books and exhibition catalogs, following the conclusion of Le Passage's distribution agreement with Interforum. Yan Briand, the editorial director, expressed the necessity for additional support to facilitate growth. Established in 2001 by Marike Gauthier, Le Passage will retain its catalog, staff, and editorial autonomy while benefiting from Glénat's marketing and press resources. From January 1, 2027, Glénat's distribution network will oversee Le Passage, with distribution managed by Hachette. Marion Glénat-Corveler commended Le Passage's catalog and co-publishing approach. Glénat, which generated €127 million in revenue in 2025, is France's eighth largest publishing group and has a track record of strategic acquisitions. Le Passage's revenue for 2025 surpassed €350,000.
