Glasstire Marks Hispanic Heritage Month with Archive of Latino Art Coverage
From September 15 to October 15, National Hispanic Heritage Month is celebrated, a designation that began as a week in 1968 under President Lyndon B. Johnson and was later extended to a month by President Ronald Reagan in 1988. Glasstire showcases various articles focusing on Hispanic and Latino artists, such as a 2025 piece by Jessica Fuentes exploring self-identification among Texas artists, a 2023 interview with Karla García regarding her Fort Worth Public Art sculpture, and a 2019 conversation with Delilah Montoya about Detention Nation.
