Gilles Teboul Presents New Exhibition at Galerie Richard Featuring Reflective Resin Works

Parisian painter Gilles Teboul is holding his third solo exhibition at Galerie Richard in Paris. The exhibition runs from May 23 to June 20, 2026, at the gallery's location at 74 rue de Turenne in the 3rd arrondissement. Teboul, born in 1961, is known for creating works where the painter's gesture is deliberately distanced, making absence the central subject. His pieces involve resin surfaces that only become fully visible after fixation, similar to photographic development. For this exhibition, Teboul introduces vibrant acidic tones including turquoise, salmon, and lemon to his typically reflective surfaces, creating what has been described as having a California sunset quality.
