Georgia O'Keeffe's Hawaiian Commission and 2018 Exhibition Insights

In January 1939, Georgia O'Keeffe traveled to Hawaii for a three-month stay, commissioned by the Hawaiian Pineapple Company, later known as Dole, to produce two paintings for a magazine advertising campaign promoting pineapple consumption.
