Geemo Design Completes BAN MAA Dessert Shop in Aranya with Lingnan Cultural References

Geemo Design has completed BAN MAA, a 120 m² retail interior project in Aranya that opened in 2025. The architecture firm, led by architects Kirin, Yi, and Hang, created a space inspired by the waters and mountains of Jiulong Lake. Curated by Han Shuang, the design centers on the theme of 'returning to the nest,' integrating Lingnan dessert traditions with Aranya's retreat atmosphere. Authentic material textures form the structural framework, while Lingnan cultural warmth provides the soul of the space. The project aims to evoke a sense of home and familiarity through physical experience. Photographs documenting the completed work were provided by Pianfang Studio.
