Gazelli Art House Represents Lilly Fenichel Foundation Ahead of 2027 Centenary

institutional · 2026-09-13

As the 100th anniversary of artist Lilly Fenichel's birth approaches in 2027, Gazelli Art House is set to engage in a multi-year collaboration with the Lilly Fenichel Foundation. This partnership will focus on exhibitions and research to elevate her profile, culminating in a solo show at Gazelli Art House New York in 2027. Fenichel (1927–2016) enjoyed a prolific career spanning seven decades in cities like San Francisco, New York, Los Angeles, and New Mexico, transitioning from gestural painting to geometric abstraction. Plans include museum exhibitions at various venues, with her work featured at The Armory Show 2026 and in the inaugural exhibition of the new Chelsea gallery. The Foundation is dedicated to preserving her legacy through educational programs.
