GAMeC Hosts Educational Series on AI, Contemporary Art and Pedagogy

GAMeC is organizing a series titled 'Immaginare futuri educativi' that examines the relationship between emerging technologies, educational practices, and pedagogical imagination. Supported by Fondazione Dalmine and in collaboration with the Direzione regionale Musei Lombardia, the program includes four sessions: an in-person event at Fondazione Dalmine on April 10 featuring sociologist Stefano Laffi, followed by three online webinars on April 15 with art historian Valentina Tanni, April 22 with pedagogue Pier Cesare Rivoltella, and April 29 with sociologist Giovanna Mascheroni. A separate workshop for secondary school teachers will be held at GAMeC on May 9, led by the research group Ippolita. The initiative aims to provide tools for addressing challenges posed by artificial intelligence and digital platforms in educational contexts, promoting critical engagement with technological innovation. Participation is free with mandatory registration, and attendees of at least three sessions receive professional development certification.
