Gallery Fumi launches three-month New York residency with 'Materials of Joy' exhibition
Gallery Fumi is hosting its longest exhibition in the US, taking place in Tribeca, New York, for three months. This showcase at Galerie56 runs until July 2026, kicking off with 'Materials of Joy' until May 23. Founders Sam Pratt and Valerio Capo are expanding their footprint in the US after successful events in Chicago and Los Angeles. Architect Lee F. Mindel, who launched Galerie56 in 2022, suggested this residency as a fresh alternative to design fairs. The exhibition features 51 works from over 15 artists and designers, highlighting unique handcrafted items. Noteworthy pieces include a large mirror by Sam Orlando Miller and furniture by Francesco Perini. The second part will showcase ceramic artist Jeremy Anderson from May 28 to July 8.
