Gaetano Pesce's Final Resin Sculpture Edition Released Posthumously
Artspace, Monacelli, and Phaidon have introduced a distinctive collection showcasing 50 original resin sculptures created by renowned Italian artist Gaetano Pesce, titled Self Portrait (The Complete Incoherence). Each sculpture measures 12 by 8.5 by 1 inches and includes a signed authenticity certificate as well as a monograph named Gaetano Pesce: The Complete Incoherence, all presented in a custom box featuring Pesce's signature aquatic design. Additionally, the collection offers three artist's proofs. Pesce, renowned for his influential contributions to art and design, passed away in April 2024 at the age of 84, leaving a lasting legacy celebrated by institutions like MoMA.
