Gaetano Pesce's 1994 New York Office Design Pioneered Flexible Workspace Concept

Italian architect-designer Gaetano Pesce, who passed away in April 2024, created a colorful and unconventional office space in New York in 1994 for American advertiser Jay Chiat. This project is considered an early prototype of the flexible office concept due to its networked and connected design. An exhibition at Pulp Galerie and a book published by Norma now explore the origins of this influential work.
