Gabriel Kogan Designs Narrow São Paulo Office Building with Multifunctional Space

Architect Gabriel Kogan has completed Oficina Tietê178, a mixed-use office building in São Paulo, Brazil, set to open in 2025. The project, co-authored by Oswaldo Pessano, occupies a narrow plot measuring just 5.6 meters wide by 20 meters long, housing an architecture office and a multipurpose salon. Its discreet facade and austere, contemplative design minimize expressive gestures, focusing on essential elements. Construction was handled by Alfa Engenharia, with structural contributions from Rewood . Calil Neto for wood and Leão & Associados for concrete. Interior design and architecture were led by Kogan, while landscaping was designed by Bruno Moreno. Key engineering roles included Marcelo Ribeiro as lead engineer and Elisângela Moura as resident engineer. Consultants such as Gabriel Regino for concrete and GreenWatt for climate control systems were involved, alongside providers like Arali and Arthus Mármore e Granitos.
