Gabbriette's Three Wedding Looks by Matières Fecales

Model and musician Gabbriette married The 1975 frontman Matty Healy on July 18 at a private estate in Los Angeles. For her wedding, she commissioned three looks from the Paris-based brand Matières Fecales, founded by Canadian duo Hannah Rose Dalton and Steven Raj Bhaskaran. The final fitting took place at Dover Street Market in Paris, attended by her mother Chayo Bechtel and best friend Bailey Quinones. The pre-wedding dress 'Leigh' incorporated a vintage black Martin Margiela gown owned by Gabbriette, inspired by Bram Stoker's Dracula. The after-party look 'Healy' was a two-piece lamb leather suit with a custom riding hat by Stephen Jones and Christian Louboutin x Matières Fecales pumps. The main wedding dress 'Gabriella' featured hand-pleated white silk taffeta with a triple bustle and train, paired with a Stephen Jones veil. This was Matières Fecales' first bridal commission; Steven created 30 sketches during a flight from Montreal to Paris. The team worked over four months on the looks.
