G8A Architecture & Urban Planning Renovates 1980s Bellevue Villa on Lake Geneva

G8A Architecture & Urban Planning, with lead architects Manuel Der Hagopian and Grégoire Du Pasquier, completed the renovation of Bellevue Villa in 2024. The project, situated lakeside north of Geneva, Switzerland, involved transforming the 1980s main villa and a 19th-century annex, both in poor condition. A key focus was reducing energy consumption and integrating the home into the landscape bordering Lake Leman. The architecture firm Collinfontaine Architectes also contributed, with photography by Thomas Causin and Think Utopia documenting the 2,300-square-meter house. Curator Miwa Negoro oversaw the project, which falls under the category of houses and renovation.
