Fujifilm Unveils GF19-35mm T3.5 Cinema Power Zoom for Large Format Filmmaking
Fujifilm has unveiled the Fujinon GF19-35mm T3.5 PZ OIS WR lens, marking its second cinema power zoom for the GFX system, tailored for large format filmmaking. This lens boasts the widest angle of view within the GF format, while maintaining a lightweight and compact design (8.74 inches in length, weighing 4.6 pounds). It comprises 23 elements arranged in 15 groups, featuring four extra-low dispersion and three aspherical elements, along with a 13-bladed iris for enhanced circular bokeh. The Nano GI coating minimizes flare and ghosting, and the integrated image stabilization supports dynamic shooting. Sharing the same exterior dimensions as the GF32-90mm T3.5 PZ OIS WR, it allows for seamless lens swapping. Priced at $5,699, it will launch on July 23, 2026, which is $300 less than its counterpart. John Blackwood from Fujifilm North America highlighted the lens's potential to enhance cinematic storytelling.
