Frye Art Museum and Assembly Art Fair launch acquisition initiative

The Frye Art Museum, in collaboration with Assembly Art Fair, has unveiled a new acquisition program for the fair's first edition. This initiative will see the Frye add pieces from the fair to its permanent collection, thereby bolstering the artists and galleries involved and enhancing the museum's contemporary art holdings. The chosen artworks will be showcased in a Recent Acquisitions exhibition at the Frye during its 75th anniversary season in spring/summer 2027. This effort seeks to fortify Seattle's contemporary arts landscape by linking the city's gallery network, active artists, and a prominent cultural institution.
