Frost Science Museum in Miami Marks Five Million Visitors with Special Weekend Events

The Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science in Downtown Miami has reached a significant attendance milestone, welcoming over five million visitors since its opening in 2017. To commemorate this achievement, the institution is organizing a celebratory weekend from Saturday, August 30, through Monday, September 1. The museum, which aims to foster scientific curiosity and discovery, attributes this accomplishment to its visitors, members, partners, and the broader community. The celebration will feature daily live science presentations in the Ocean Gallery, focusing on marine environments. Food@Science will offer special $5 combos including flavored lemonade and cookies. The Science Store will have a selection of items priced at $5 each. On August 30, from noon until 2 p.m., student performers from Young Musicians Unite will provide live music. Additionally, individuals who purchase a museum membership during the event will receive three extra months of benefits and a $5 gift card for the store.
