institutional · 2026-10-22

On Tuesday night, The Frick Collection hosted its Autumn Dinner, celebrating architect Annabelle Selldorf, who finished a five-year renovation last year. This event was the first of its kind since the venue reopened. Guests kicked off the evening with cocktails in the James S. and Barbara N. Reibel Reception Hall, before enjoying a formal dinner surrounded by stunning Old Master paintings. Co-chairs Margot and Jerry Bogert, along with benefactor Sofia A. Blanchard and committee members Judy and Jamie Dimon, were in attendance. Board chair Elizabeth Mugar Eveillard emphasized the renovation's importance, while Trustee Monika McLennan called Selldorf 'the perfect choice.' Director Axel Rüger commended her work at both the Frick and the Louvre, and Selldorf expressed that the result was 'even better than well.'
