French Kiwi Juice Releases New Album TYBER, Talks Solitude and Creative Spaces

Vincent Fenton, known as French Kiwi Juice (FKJ), released his new album TYBER on the day of this interview. The album explores solitude and encounters, blending jazz, soul, and electronic sounds. FKJ, who moved back to Paris after living in Southeast Asia since 2018, is rehearsing for his first show since 2023. He discusses the origin of his stage name, coined in 2012 on the Paris subway, reflecting his French mother and New Zealand father. The album's title comes from a being he encountered during a retreat in Gabon, where he took the Iboga plant. Collaborations on TYBER include Labrinth, Lucy Park, Eryn Allen Kane, and Baby Rose.
