French electro-swing group Lyre le temps releases New Orleans-inspired album after immersive residency

French electro-swing ensemble Lyre le temps released their sixth album 'New Orleans Club' on April 10, 2026, following a month-long creative residency in New Orleans. Led by composer Ludovic Schmidt, the Strasbourg-based group immersed themselves in the city's jazz culture, collaborating with local musicians including trombonist Glen David Andrews, who appears on the track 'When I get low, I get high.' Andrews became a mentor to Schmidt during the recording process.
