Freitag Launches New Bag Collection Combining Recycled Truck Tarps with PET Bottle Textiles

Zurich-based bag manufacturer Freitag has introduced a new line of bags called Tarp on PET (ToP), which blends their signature recycled truck tarps with textiles made from 100% recycled PET plastic bottles. The collection includes four multipurpose designs: a drawstring bag, a top-loading backpack, a roll-top shoulder bag, and a cross-body bag. Founded in 1993, the company has long utilized truck tarps but is now expanding its materials to include recycled plastic bottles, processed with water-saving dyeing techniques. This launch represents Freitag's ongoing commitment to sustainable product innovation.
