Frédéric Couraillon's Nocturnal Paintings at Château du Val Fleury
Frédéric Couraillon, who exclusively paints at night in his rooftop studio, alters his view of shapes and colors. His latest showcase at Château du Val Fleury includes oil paintings, ceramics, and prints, all defined by subtle hues and striking contrasts. A graduate of Beaux-Arts de Paris and a first prize recipient in piano at the Conservatoire national, Couraillon draws inspiration from artists like Goya, Velázquez, Van Gogh, and Japanese prints. The exhibition will be open from May 5 to July 5, 2026, at Allée du Val Fleury, 91190 Gif-sur-Yvette, Tuesday to Saturday from 2 PM to 6 PM, Sunday from 2 PM to 6:30 PM, closed on Mondays, with no admission fee. Three complimentary family workshops are planned for May 31, June 14, and June 21.
