Frankie magazine has unveiled its 2027 calendar, featuring artworks by twelve artists from Australia and beyond. The lineup includes Adelaide-based graphic artist Madelene Start, Tokyo illustrator Qi Ren, Melbourne textile designer Lori Camarata, Auckland abstract artist Alice Berry, Parisian illustrator Simone Goder, Australian painter Beau Wylie, Gudanji/Wakaja/Kalkadoon artist Nardurna (Ryhia Dank), Argentinian graphic designer Flor Fuertes, Polish-German illustrator Maggie Stephenson, Orange-based contemporary artist Sophie Corks, Sydney duo Outer Island (Stephanie Chambers and Amy Ranck), and South Korean illustrator Zoey Kim. Each artist contributed a piece and shared thoughts on New Year's resolutions, 2026 highlights, and hopes for 2027. The calendar and diary are available for $48.95 each, with a bundle option, through the frankie shop and stockists. Nardurna's highlight was seeing her work projected onto the Sydney Opera House for Apple's Illuminating Creativity campaign, while Sophie Corks sold 27 of 30 paintings at the Brisbane Affordable Art Fair. Outer Island celebrated 10 years as a collaboration. The calendar aims to bring joy and creativity to the new year.
