Frankey's Lucky Dragon interactive sculpture illuminates Rosewood Hong Kong lobby

In the lobby of Rosewood Hong Kong, street artist Frankey has unveiled an interactive sculpture titled Lucky Dragon. This vibrant red dragon features a heart that lights up when visitors high-five a 3D-printed likeness of Frankey as a child. Drawing inspiration from local folklore and his own childhood, the piece nods to traditional Lunar New Year dragon costumes, with young Frankey depicted within the dragon's head. It is built with 650-kilogram steel feet and foam covered in polyurethane, showcasing visible stitches and a tail resting on a reissued Madrid skateboard. Additionally, a second sculpture of young Frankey with a toy dragon is located outside the hotel. The exhibition runs from 23 March to 22 April before relocating to Frankey's studio and a museum.
