Frank Lasry Appointed Chief Operating Officer at Frieze, Joining in June 2026

Frieze has appointed Frank Lasry as its new Chief Operating Officer, with his commencement date scheduled for June 2026. Reporting directly to CEO Simon Fox, Lasry will oversee operations for the company’s worldwide fairs and initiatives. With over two decades of international leadership experience, he began his career at Christie's, where he held senior roles in cities such as Paris, London, Dubai, and Hong Kong, ultimately becoming COO in London. He also served as COO for Phillips across Europe and Asia, managing teams in major cities and facilitating market expansion. From 2018 to 2023, he was Managing Director at Art Basel, contributing significantly to fairs in various locations. Most recently, he held the COO position at Perrotin, managing logistics across nine global sites. Fox expressed excitement about Lasry's vast operational expertise, which he believes will bolster Frieze's global growth and enhance offerings for galleries, collectors, and partners. Lasry conveyed his pride in joining Frieze, a brand committed to advancing contemporary art's accessibility and appreciation.
