Fran Silvestre Arquitectos completes cylindrical house in Madrid

Fran Silvestre Arquitectos has completed a residence in Las Rozas, Madrid, defined by five intersecting cylindrical volumes. The 370-square-meter project sits on a sloping site overlooking the Sierra de Guadarrama. Each cylinder houses a distinct function, connected by orthogonal junctions that create fluid transitions and a central courtyard. Angled roof cuts adapt to the terrain and introduce skylights. Large glazed openings extend interiors toward gardens and mountain views. The design references Spanish sculptor Andreu Alfaro's 'Homage to Brâncuși'.
