Feronia Wennborg's Sound Installation at Hordaland Kunstsenter
Feronia Wennborg presents 'a love past and present, leaking, glowing' at Hordaland Kunstsenter in Bergen, as part of Rumours & Murmurs: An Archive Project curated by Ruby Eleftheriotis. The sound installation uses hand-held recordings from emotionally significant locations in Nordnes, captured across autumn, winter, and spring, alongside domestic sounds. Transducer speakers attached to surfaces activate the architecture through vibration. The work rethinks the archive as a field of resonances, inviting visitors to contribute impressions. A publication compiling notes and research accompanies the exhibition. Wennborg is a PhD fellow at the University of Bergen.
