Feltrinelli Acquires Pasolini Catalogue from Garzanti, Republication Begins February 2027

publication · 2026-10-20

The catalogue of Pier Paolo Pasolini has been acquired by Milan-based publisher Feltrinelli from Garzanti, with plans to reissue his major works starting in February 2027. Carlo Feltrinelli characterized the agreement, worth 1.5 million euros, as a convergence of notable Italian rebels. The initial release will be Le ceneri di Gramsci, a collection of eleven poems from 1957. This will be followed by Una vita violenta, a 1959 Strega finalist that chronicles Tommaso Puzzilli's journey. In May and June 2027, Scritti corsari, featuring articles from 1973-1975, and L'odore dell'India, reports from a 1960-61 trip, will be published. The series will wrap up in September 2027 with La nuova gioventù, poems from 1975. Pasolini passed away in 1975.
