Félix Luque Sánchez Exhibition at iMAL Explores Automation and Society

Félix Luque Sánchez presents 'La Société Automatique' at iMAL in Brussels, an exhibition examining the societal impacts of automation through eight new works created with collaborators Vincent Evrard, Damien Gernay, and Íñigo Bilbao Lopategui. The show references philosopher Bernard Stiegler's concept of an automated society, exploring themes of labor, technology, and human agency. Key pieces include 'Assembled in China,' featuring AI-generated portraits of workers; 'Perpétuité II,' a modified industrial robot; and 'Le rêve de Simondon,' photographs of teenagers engaged with technology. The exhibition runs until February 15, 2026, as part of EUROPALIA ESPAÑA, using immersive scenography to question technological progress and its effects on contemporary life.
