Fausta Bonfrate's Chowa Project Merges Ikebana with Architectural Installations

Fausta Bonfrate, founder of Blomour, developed the Chowa project during a residency in Japan where she studied ikebana at the Sogetsu School in Tokyo and Kyoto. This botanical and visual research initiative explores harmony and balance through site-specific installations in a historic traditional house. The work transforms ikebana into a spatial language by arranging locally foraged materials that interact dynamically with architectural elements, light, and gravity.
