Fabrizio Lombardo Discusses 'La linea spezzata' Ahead of Premio Strega Poesia Verdict
Fabrizio Lombardo, a 1968 Bologna native currently living in Ferrara, is competing for the Premio Strega Poesia with his poetry collection, La linea spezzata (Donzelli Editore, 2026). The announcement of the winner is set for 13 October. Lombardo's work portrays the late 1970s to early 1980s as a pivotal period of transformation, inspired by Elisa Donzelli’s idea for a distinct division between sections. In 1994, he co-founded the literary magazine Versodove and has released various poetry collections, including co-editing Yellow by Antonio Porta (Mondadori, 2002).
