Artist Fabio Marullo presents his solo exhibition 'YELLOWSAKE – giallocanarino' at ArtNoble Gallery in Milan, running until March 27, 2026. The exhibition centers on uranium as its primary material, examining the complex relationship between humanity and this toxic yet fluorescent element. Curated with a critical text by Elio Grazioli, the immersive installation features four rooms that recreate the experience of uranium mines, including works like 'Non sono lucciole ma uranio' (2023) with Murano glass spheres and a taxidermied canary referencing historical mining safety practices. The show originated from research in a uranium mine near Cuneo, Italy, highlighting the paradoxical coexistence of harmful and beneficial elements in nature.
