Experience the Beauty: Tivoli Launches Inclusive Heritage Pilot from October 2026

The initiative titled "Experience the Beauty, Scoprire e Vivere Tivoli" was unveiled at Scuderie Estensi in Tivoli. Its objective is to create inclusive and accessible approaches that tackle cognitive and cultural obstacles to promote long-term social integration. This research and design endeavor will take place in Tivoli, recognized for its UNESCO sites Villa Adriana and Villa d'Este, from October 2026 until March 2028, engaging local organizations and communities. Key components include architectural mapping, a digital platform featuring georeferenced information, and integrated communication tools such as tactile maps and sound QR codes. Directed by Regione Lazio and in collaboration with Comune di Tivoli and others, it aligns with the ICOM 2022 museum definition and the 2018 European Framework for Action on Cultural Heritage.
