Ester Partegàs Presents Dual Exhibition Surveying Three Decades of Work in Spain

Artist Ester Partegàs is currently showing simultaneous exhibitions titled 'Arquitectura menor' at Es Baluard Museu in Palma (through May 5) and Museo CA2M in Madrid (through June 14). The exhibitions, curated by Bea Espejo, present a comprehensive overview of Partegàs's work from 2002 to 2025, featuring sculptures and installations that engage with everyday objects and material culture. Partegàs, born in 1972 in La Garriga and based in New York since 1997, creates works that explore connections between vernacular architecture, archaeological time, and contemporary experience. The exhibitions highlight her non-linear artistic evolution and her interest in recontextualizing ordinary materials through formal experimentation.
